Paris, June  24, 2009 -

Just a few days after the launch of the new bullx supercomputer, industry analysts IDC have given their assessment of Bull's strategy and offerings in Extreme Computing.

Having reviewed Bull's initial moves in Extreme Computing, IDC goes on to explore the reasons behind Bull's rapid ascent in this area, and makes an impartial assessment of the challenges and opportunities that the Group faces in its ambition to be among the three world leaders in this domain, and number one in Europe.

IDC also reviews the new bullx offering, from the system architecture to its software platform and associated services offerings.
