Bull extends its range of jamming solutions with Raid Shadow: the new lightweight and compact smart reactive signal jammer.
Paris,
October
5, 2012 -
Bull - the specialist in secure, mission-critical systems - is today launching Raid Shadow, an Amesys offer, the latest signal jamming solution in its Shadow range, launched in March 2011.
As a lightweight and compact smart reactive signal jammer, Raid Shadow is the lightweight, portable version of Black Shadow. Raid Shadow is a stand-alone device, perfectly suited to Special Forces missions, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) services and the protection of restricted areas (check points, meeting rooms,...).
The size of a typical rucksack and weighing just 22kg, Raid Shadow offers exactly the same levels of protection and performance as Black Shadow. Capable of covering the frequency band between 20 MHz and 2.5GHz (with two boxes), it can instantaneously and simultaneously detect over 2,000 threats and is specifically designed to be highly responsive in the face of GSM and DECT 'bursts' (from mobile and wireless phones).
With Raid Shadow, Bull is reaffirming its expertise in security, by expanding its electronic warfare offerings, most notably its range of smart reactive signal jamming solutions.
"When it comes to security, Bull's aim is not only to protect systems but also, through its electronic warfare offerings, to directly protect the lives of military and civilian personnel, especially in the face of terrorism and organized crime" declares Franck Greverie, Executive Vice-President Security Solutions at Bull. "With its electro-magnetic intelligence gathering and jamming solutions Bull is making a major contribution to controlling the electro-magnetic spectrum and its usage", he continues.
Raid Shadow will be officially unveiled to the security and defense market at MILIPOL Qatar in Doha, from 8- 10 October 2012 - in the French Pavillion (stand G 093).
