Bull attains Gold Certified Partner status in Microsoft Partner Program
Bull further distinguishes itself by earning a Microsoft competency in OEM Hardware Solutions
16, 2006 -
Bull today announced it has attained the Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program with a competency in OEM Hardware Solutions.
The Microsoft Partner Program represents Microsoft's ongoing commitment to the success of its partners worldwide. The program offers a single, integrated partnering framework that recognizes partner expertise, rewards the total impact that partners have in the technology marketplace, and delivers more value to help partners' businesses be successful.
Bull's ability to meet the IT market demand and its expertise in Microsoft technologies
The OEM Hardware Solutions Competency is intended for partners that build and deliver desktop or server hardware systems, and those that design and manufacture hardware devices used as computer parts, peripherals or accessories. Partners that attain the OEM Hardware Solutions Competency are recognized for their expertise in delivering high-quality hardware solutions and are provided with information and tools needed to expand their market opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage in the industry. Specializations within the competency include System Building and Device Manufacturing. These solutions, hosted on Bull NovaScale 64-bit servers, have passed the "Designed for Windows" Logo test. They are certified by Microsoft and supported by Bull to ensure full customer satisfaction.
"Partners that acquire the OEM Hardware Solutions Competency have demonstrated expertise and have a track record of building high-quality hardware solutions that are designed and configured with the Microsoft technologies according to customer needs and supported to ensure customer satisfaction," said Kurt Kolb, vice president of Worldwide System Builder Channel and License Compliance at Microsoft. "These partners are able to closely engage with Microsoft and have access to specialized resources to help them meet and even surpass customer expectations."
"We are extremely pleased to have attained Microsoft Gold Certification in the OEM Hardware Solutions competency" said Stéphane Delivré, Vice President Group Business Operations, Bull. "As customers expand and upgrade their information technology assets, there is a demand for high-quality hardware solutions, built, configured, and optimized to run under a Microsoft environment. Bull will continue enhancing the reliability and performance of its NovaScale server offerings, allowing our customers to expand their market opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage in their industry."
Bull's NovaScale 64-bit servers represent a robust foundation for cost-effective deployment of complex IT infrastructures. Bull's NovaScale high scalability servers enable a tight adaptation to the customer's infrastructure evolution, thus bringing important cost reductions. This unique array of capabilities has propelled Bull to a position of excellence in the server market, from which it drives the migration of its customers to next-generation solutions.
"Customers are looking for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities. They need to trust in someone that can act as an expert adviser for their long-term strategic technology plans. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners, which have certified expertise and direct training and support from Microsoft, can build a positive customer experience with our technologies," said Allison Watson, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft Corp. "Today, Microsoft recognizes Bull as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for demonstrating its expertise in providing customer satisfaction with Microsoft products and technology."
As a Gold Certified Partner, Bull will benefit from a rich set of resources, giving them a competitive edge in the marketplace, priority access to a dedicated support team of Microsoft certified systems engineers, non-disclosure evaluations of forthcoming products and technologies, as well as planning tools and events to stay informed on the latest Microsoft product developments and future directions.
