Bull has been recognized the best Private Cloud project at the TechTarget-VMworld User Europe Awards ceremony with bullion Cloud Platform, a converged infrastructure dedicated to private cloud, co-developed with VMware, EMC and Brocade. Bull was one of the 6 European IT winner projects focusing on innovation, performance, costs improvement provided by Bull's cloud platform to optimize the overall business process and efficiency.
A panel of expert judges from the fields of cloud and virtualisation selected Bull's cloud project for the quality of its pre-integration between hardware and software to leverage all the vCloud suite functionalities as well as the integration with security products to provide a highly secure private cloud infrastructure.
Three bullion cloud platform configurations have been designed by Bull labs to meet the needs of development teams as well as those related to the implementation of mission-critical applications. Each configuration is pre-defined, optimized, validated and pre-packaged.
bullion Cloud Platform combines Bull's critical application server platform with EMC VNX storage and Brocade VDX switches, pre integrated with VMware vCloud Director and Network & Security products.
The objective is a rapid and risk-free deployment that precisely answers to Enterprise's needs, enabling 300 to 700 VMs running in a secure and cost optimize infrastructure, leveraging Bull's high end server bullion, the most powerful x86 business server in the market.
